What Is Baby Corn
Baby corn is an immature ear of Zea mays — the same maize plant that produces full-grown corn — harvested 3 to 4 days after the silk first emerges. At this stage the cob is 4–9 cm long, fully edible husk-to-core without shucking, and has a delicate sweet crunch that disappears if the ear is left to mature further.
Thailand is the world's largest exporter of fresh baby corn, with Ratchaburi Province — where our farms are located — recognized as a premium growing region due to its fertile alluvial soil, reliable water supply and year-round warm climate. Ratchaburi baby corn commands a price premium in Taiwanese, Singaporean and Hong Kong wholesale markets because of its consistent size grading and bright natural colour.

Cold Chain Process
Ears harvested before 06:00 to minimise field heat. Only ears 4–9 cm selected; over/under-size rejected at field.
Batch vacuum-cooled to 4 °C within 90 minutes of harvest, removing field heat and slowing respiration immediately.
Graded, packed into cartons or MAP trays, and weighed in our 4 °C cold room. Labels, phytosanitary docs attached.
Pallets moved in refrigerated truck to Suvarnabhumi cargo terminal. Door-to-door transit to Taipei, Singapore or Hong Kong: 8–18 hours.
Export Markets
Primary market. Weekly air cargo via China Airlines Cargo and EVA Air. Delivered Taipei Nangang and Taichung distribution centres.
Changi-routed airfreight. Served major FairPrice distributors and specialty importers. Avg. transit 8–10 hours ex-BKK.
